This rope is unlike any other I have used. It is very stiff and thick, and the handles are very slim by comparison, which really gives your grip a workout, too. It feels medium-heavy but because of its stiffness, it is very manageable. Tons of fun!

Slushy you are the best

Many heavy ropes at this weight are difficult to flow with so I end up using them for drilling, but the Slush2D2 has such a loose braid and is so soft that it's the best free flowing heavy rope I've used. The Lucky Cobra in contrast is firm and far less flexible so I use it almost exclusively for drilling, then I'll pick up the Slush2D2 and just flow with it. Slush finds and makes the highest quality of ropes out there, it's no wonder I have about 18 different Slushropes

I've had a blast with the Electric Shark so far. Being my first heavy rope, I had anticipated the process of adapting to the physical challenge itself of spinning heavy, but what surprised me was that using the ES has actually improved my flow technique as a byproduct of simply being forced into slower and more intentional movements due to its weight. I've come to really enjoy that slower, focused flow state that I enter into when using the ES, and the material itself is a pleasure to use as it's quite soft. The grip and feel in the hands is perfect. Couldn't be happier and would recommend this rope highly to anyone looking to add a heavy rope to their arsenal, whether it's their first or an addition to a stacked heavy rope collection.

This rope has super comfortable handles and the weight is perfect for slow and fast flow. It feels soft and floats through the air. One of my best heavy ropes for tricks.

Been really loving this rope, and how it’s constructed in feels. I’m new to floor rope, but not new to athleticism. This practice is definitely helping with that and with both my mental and physical fitness. Get after it.

I received a long red thin rope I believe to be the “fireberry”, and it’s a bit longer than my other ropes. Material is slick and expertly braided. Rope moves very quickly, is super easy to hold, and sounds fierce as it whips by.

I highly recommend getting your rope from Slushropes for no other reason than they have custom sizes. They also really helped out in determining which size is good for me, and I settled on a size that is shorter than average for someone my height, but it works out really well for my flow.

As for the rope itself, it actually feels slightly more pliable than my 1kg rope. I don't recommend a rope this heavy as your first heavy rope unless you know what you're getting into.

This was one of my first 3 ropes I got 7-8 weeks ago, and frankly I wasn’t ready for it. Now that I’ve put in some proper training with lighter ropes, this is hands down my favorite rope! I now have 1 heavier rope and many lighter ropes, and this is the one I grab automatically if I want to get a great workout and feel amazing. I’m so amazingly impressed by her craftsmanship, particularly compared to 3 other companies I tried while getting into ropes, that I’m now getting the StormChaser as it’s the only thing that I can conceive of rivaling this rope. The handles and the flow are LIGHT YEARS better than other ropes.

I took the picture with the Alpaca Huacaya as it is my favorite one arm rope and the best warm up for me before tackling Flowda work. Don’t sleep on these slim style rope handles. I had the preconceived notion I would prefer knotted ends, and they are fine for protohype and smaller, but these handles give the hands beautiful feedback when getting into heavier ropes.

I considered throwing in the heavier rope from another company just to showcase how superior Slush’s craftsmanship really is, but I hate to hate so I chose not to.
