I've tried a few different brands while getting into Rope Flow and Slush Ropes are by far my favorite. I have this one (Electric Squeeze) and the Electric Shark. These ropes are softer to the touch than most others. I will be purchasing more. Beyond the rope, Slush is awesome! Their whole attitude, their amazing video content, and the way that they curate Rope Flow videos from others, giving me a chance to discover Rope Flow practitioners all over the world! Rope is different to my octomoves rope in that you must be careful of asphalt as the rope can fray.

Electric Shark (ES) fundamentally changed my entire flow practice. Mine is 100 inches long & weighs 3lbs. I picked it up 9 months into RopeFlow and 7 months after incorporating the SlushMelon (which is 1/2 the weight of the ES). Today ES is 70% of my practice time and my flow is the best it’s ever been because of this rope. After 4 months with ES my 42 year old body is the strongest, fastest and happiest it’s been in my entire life. HeavyRope flow supercharges the benefits your joints & muscles receive from flow and you barely know that it’s ‘hard work’ because this rope is so supple and able to be used in many of the patterns that your lighter/thinner ropes excel at. Learning to perform anchored sneaks with this rope will change your life (and your wrist strength!) My Electric Shark is simultaneous strength-training, joint-protecting and cardio-inducing all rolled up in one short flow session. If you roll lighter ropes and find any benefit, heavy ropes will increase it. ES is the perfect first heavy rope and my daily companion. (Start with the SlushMelon if you’re not ready for ES quite yet!)
Heavy RopeFlow is an accelerated path to the mastery of rolling ropes. If you love flow, you owe it to yourself to try the heavier side. Benefits I found early on with SlushMelon include:

Take note that the handles are the same diameter of the rope and this will force you to make adjustments in your grip; this isn’t a bad thing - exploring different grips is a great thing to add to your practice!
